Meanwhile, Jenny Zhao, one of the lawyers in the case of Cambodian immigrants that say, "capture and insert them into the aircraft before undergoing court proceedings here violates their rights. We also urged that the U.S. Government to reopen the immigration cases of them. "
Most of those who threatened mass exodus of participants was deported from Cambodia to the United States, when the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge regime spread on 1970 's. But, after fleeing to the U.S., many of them never get full citizenship.
